Cambridge International A-Levels (Advanced Level)

The Cambridge International A-Levels (Advanced Level) are subject-based qualifications awarded as part of the General Certificate of Education and also serve as a high school completion credential. Offered by established examination boards in the United Kingdom, this prestigious programme provides students with over 55 subject choices and is widely regarded as the "Gold Standard" qualification. A-Level certification is generally required for university entrance, with universities offering admissions based on students' final grades.

Cambridge International A-Levels typically span two years. Students usually begin with three to four subjects in the first year and often reduce their workload to three in the second year, as most university offers are based on three A-Level results. Unlike other Level 3 qualifications, such as the International Baccalaureate, A-Levels do not have compulsory subject requirements, allowing students the flexibility to choose subjects that suit their interests and future goals. However, many students select subjects strategically based on the prerequisites of the degree programmes they wish to pursue.

This internationally recognised qualification enables students to apply to universities around the world. With the Cambridge A-Levels, students gain a solid academic foundation that supports global higher education pathways.
